Val's Ref

Oh hoh, geez, I have been putting off doing a ref of this guy for way too long. . .Considering I came up with him just shortly after Taftel. . .Hell, Val might be even older than Taftel, ahah, I'm just going by the dates of first known pictures of them. . .This actually isn't the first picture I've ever submitted of Val, but he really. . .Looks a lot different. Than he did. . .I'd post a link for comparison but oh god I can't even look at it. No. Don't look for that old picture. I swear to god. Don't. You're doing it right now aren't you, you sonofabitch. :C. . .Anyways Val really doesn't have that big of a role in Flaw. . .He does, however, have a part in a sequel of two. . .But you know what I haven't even written Flaw so I haven't really thought of those too much okay. >:C

Also, if that suit didn't make your eyes hurt, I didn't try hard enough. Have I ever mentioned that current day Canne's most like the 60's/70's. And that I basically browse here for clothing ideas. WELL now you know.

SO YEAH that was off topic woah. Anyway Val. You think my other characters are douche bags WELL JUST YOU WAIT.

Personality: Val is completely and utterly fixated on himself. Vain as they come and quite incapable of caring about others, every situation is looked at in terms of how it may benefit or harm him. Because he's SO FUCKING AWESOME you know. :[ Even his closest friends are viewed as tools to be used in some way or another. However, because Val is such a phony and is quite adept at putting on acts and keeping his cool, most don't catch on to this. He wouldn't have accumulated such a large 'toolbox' if he'd acted his selfish, nasty self, eh? But yes, being a compulsive liar, basically every other word out of his mouth is a lie.

But Val would truly like to be independent, from these people he calls mere goons, but, simply put, he cannot. Because of his condition, he really can't do a lot of strenuous activity, which is unfortunate because he gets bored very, VERY easily. He feels he must be doing something productive at all times, though what he calls "productive" is decidedly skewed. One day in bed and he'd be ready to kill himself. So he really does need a lot of help to get all the shit he's got planned done everyday. (Taftel has to basically carry him around some days, awww. :'D)

Its really quite a miracle Val is even alive by now, considering how much shit he starts with the dangerous people. He absolutely adores pissing people off and starting fights, often out of that incessant state of boredom he's in. He'd probably be dead in a gutter right now if not for Taftel taking the bullets for him. And I do mean Taftel has literally taken bullets for him. :'C Furthermore, he is a hardcore drug user and an absolute manwhore. . .

Uh, as for positive traits he's very. . .Intelligent? Yeah. Despite his recklessness, he never does anything without thinking it over first and having a backup plan to save his ass. He's wicked paranoid and is always on his toes, really. And. What else. Oh. He's good in bed. Lolol.

Background: Val, in contrast to Taftel, was born into very wealthy family in the capital of Vardeilla, Lochay. But, unfortunately, this wealth came from drugs. His father, Karech Goyrra, is one of the most notorious drug lords on Vardeilla. Lol. As a result, Val's childhood was very. . .Interesting. And immeasurably traumatic. :C Despite the luxury he lived, there was always fear and anxiety in the air of household, and his busy parents were, of course, quite neglectful. (Wow I'm kindof just pulling this out of my ass lol. WILL DO RESEARCH ON DRUG LORDS LATER. _{IE: Watch Scarface.})

However, Val got used to it, and actually enjoyed the crazy lifestyle. He anticipated getting into the business himself one day and taking his father's place. However, this was not to be. His father told him that, with his condition, he was not suited for the work. The business was to be given to his younger, healthy brother when the time came, and Val was to stay out of it. Of course, Val was bullshit about this. After getting in numerous fights with him, Val ran away from home at the age of sixteen. Lolpussy.

He ended up in Marravaw. Shortly afterward, he changed his last name from "Goyrra" to "Dechez", fearing the former might get him killed by one of his father's rivals. Of course, he also feared his more prominent color would give him away, as well, to the point where he tried dying himself (and failed). This first year of living on his own was, in general, full of paranoia, because he'd always been assured by the protection by his father's many guards and now he. . .Wasn't. :[ And no longer was he living in a high-class mansion by the filthiest of apartments. He almost pussed out and ran crying back home several times, but somehow managed to hold out.

Befriending Taftel helped. Even at the young age of fifteen, after working down at the docks for four years and being a rather intimidating six foot three (with four more inches to go, of course ;D), he was just what Val needed. A bodyguard. His own loyal attack dog to follow at his heels and protect him. With his former confidence restored, so was his recklessness, which got only worse as he got older. And, as I said before, this took its toll on Taftel, as well.

Eventually he took up drug dealing, following in his father's footsteps, oh yes, and planning to make it as big as him. . .And failing, much to his frustration. . .He and Taftel managed to live comfortably, but that's about it. And. . .Well the rest is on Taftel's ref, okay, if I go on any further I'm going to be repeating myself. D;

HMM I THINK I HAVE TO THINK OUT VAL MORE. . .That sucked.

ALSO, I just realized THIS SONG perfectly describes Val's view of Taftel. Ohlol.
